50 years of Welsh language music to be celebrated with gigs, performances and art
Dydd Miwsig Cymru will celebrate the best of Welsh Language music over the past 50 years with a vibrant mix of gigs, performances, art installations and competitions across the country.
Organisers are calling for everyone to get behind the day by sharing their favourite Welsh language song on social media, going to see or organising a Welsh gig or by downloading a #DyddMiwsigCymru playlist.

Huw Stephens has chosen to get behind Dydd Miwsig Cymru because of his passion for music and the Welsh language. Huw regularly presents on BBC Radio 1 and on BBC Radio Cymru, playing new music from Welsh language bands.
